Yes, it has been already thought of. If you are a registered member you can play, if you are not - you won't have access. The problem is that there is no way to integrate an auto system. Can do it manually and set a pass on all the servers and post the pass but the community isn't large enough to have players 24/7 online. Something will be done though, our servers are busy almost 24/7 but few or nobody is helping out with donations. Another change is that new admins now how to help per month in donations. That won't affect existing admins but if they are not active, will be removed and if added back, they too have to contribute. We use premium hardware and bandwidth, if people want some FUN - somebody is paying for it. To be honest gone too long anyway.

Yeah and HP is selling off it's desktop/ hardware to focus on software. Hmm guess we will move over to Dell. Don't want Chinese IBM Lenovo.

As you may know, our COD4/5/MW2 servers are based in the UK with good speed to EU in general. We are now looking to expand within the next 6 months, getting things ready for Christmas 2011 LOL. We are looking for good hosts in the US, ideally East Coast or Mid Country like Chicago or thereabout. Dedicated or powerful VPS. We are also looking in other areas such as Central Europe, Asia and towards Japan/Korea. If you have good experience with hosts who are reliable and likely to stay alive longer than the next 12 months, please do post/reply. We need ideas! and as a community feel free.

I have used CLONECD /DVD in the past with others. Which one is the 'best' today to copy CD/DVD etc to HDD as image but also to DVD to DVD? No loss of quality!

I think you have to look at what budget you have and have much you can spend. It is easy to say that product N is better than product X. I recently bought a laptop and set a figure on how much I wanted to spend, then decided on the best hardware for the money.

RCONs may want to continue in the RCON section but I trust our admins and there is no need to 'wait for Whoops'. I don't play that much due to other commitments, you do so you should make that decision yourself by following |ED| rules/ guide of normal game play. Nice, similar spec to my own. You won't be able to benefit from the additional 1GB dedicated GPU but card can play most games. I have the 1GB card + 2GB shared and it does the job well. It is a top card for the money.

The more ram the better. The i5, 480M and 8 GB RAM - great for the price.

Charge up your phone (dont use it) but for GPS tracking only. You can then upload the stats to google maps or something and plot the route you were walking

Dont go on your own . You will have to bring all the food you need for the 3 days unless you intend to fish etc. Sounds nice. I would like to do the same later this year.

TF2 servers been updated again. You can usually tell when there are no players on the servers!, it is a silly system. Files get updated on a weekly basis and it is a mess checking for updates almost every 2 days! A monthly update would have been better. Or auto update.
