Admins have been caught cheating in the past and then been excluded. This is not the problem. No links available for people to view or review Razz hacking is the problem. We are not protecting proven cheaters. He also played under a different name and you told Cross (in your language) that he was not WH - once he changed his name back to Razz and a map later you all claimed he was hacking? Anyway, no need for a heated discussion. And no, players will not be banned for reporting players/admins cheating.

Probably because Cross did not upload but why cant he upload? Cross also claimed *SRB*DjJonnyR was cheating.

You should have seen our first board it had close to 800 members but half were spammers . Joke aside our system should become active soon, it filter them out better.

Ah it knows we are not spammers and it learns too. If you delete a post 'as spam' with the mod tools - it will remember info and compare details.

It's good with a discussion just remember that MW2 is where we are most popular, same as what COD4 was for us 12 months ago (but no longer). People like different things, any more MW2 roll-outs have been delayed - we need more mature admins before adding more servers. If we wanted full servers 24/7 we could have easily put up 5 hc and 5 gun games but we are more than just populating servers. Feedback is important so keep posting!

Yeah, Demolition was actually added because I wanted to remove the 'private' server but at the same time not a full one. I was testing hard drive load and wanted minimum players on it at the time. I am done with the testing so yeah we can change now to something else.

Our system used too much CPU and memory according one host which closed us down, then another host said the same before we ended up where we are now. The social network website was a great idea but the back-end a nightmare in terms of development and hosting. I can agree about the service providers who have commented in the past that it is not that well written...(the program). Spending hours, days and weeks on something that should be fun and not constantly try to recover a site, something had to change. We are now using a forum which for now gives us stability and speed. One day when we are enough or big enough... we will go back to a social network site similar or the same (if they have fixed the bugs) that we used before.

Question: Why are the servers rebooting every now and then, I find it very annnoying?

Answer: Nothing to do with us! The servers are hosted on a dedicated server, it is the back-end and code in use. Servers can crash at random, be online for days or just 30min before crashing. RCON tools can lead to unstable servers but there is now a fix for that. I guess we need to wait for a patch or a newer version of the server files. Apart from that, our servers should be one of the best... :mrgreen:

One thing I like about forum(s) is the speed compared to bloated portals. Simplicity is sometimes best! Forum loads fast for me.

Note that most bans are cleared nightly or with the next server reboot.

It was anti virus clamd crashing server, will take a look this weekend, I am down with bad flu.

Server was offline earlier today. It crashed or was switched offline by accident. We are looking to find a dedicated host medium term.

this is my first post.. i play everyday on epic dot servers mostly SnD, Dom and TDM with my clan YuG|

now i dont know is this appropriate section of the forum but i couldnt find more appropriate one :mrgreen:

i would like to say that server is one of the very best out there and stuff...

now for the critics.. i think some admin must be present i think 90% of the time i play there are some problems with cheaters or whiners or just players who spoil game for others.. and admins are nowhere to be found..

have you ever considered implementing !votekick and mapvote in the servers?

Welcome! Nice to see you appreciate the service. I agree about the admins and this is something that we are working on. For now it is encouraged that players report cheaters to our mini-chat and we can boot cheaters off remotely. enabling !votekick can go both ways. Sometimes or very often it is abused and people use it just for fun which may mean kicking real people who do not cheat.

MW2 got its own section since we have 7 but 6 busy ones! They do crash once in a while hence you will sometimes see 0 or 6 players. They normally populate quick and during weekends make sure to join before its full! Servers will auto restart (when they crash). We hope they will become more stable but it is not up to us but the developers
