Thanks for your replys guys I have decided that i will buy BO asap and it would be really cool if we could have a game or two together In my opinion Black ops is a great game with excellent weapon balancing and there are not as many annoying things as in mw2 or mw3. The only two negative aspects that I don't like about treyarch/Black Ops is that they bring out so many mappacks and each for like 10 - 15€ which is waaayyy to much if you pay the full price for the game already. Another thing is the performance issues that came with the PC version of the game. It was a mess in the beginning (not relevant as it has been fixed already but im just sayin') and its pretty sad that this game is only fluently playable with a quadcore cpu although black ops uses a modded Cod:waw engine. I mean its no problem for me as I own a Quad atm but in general i think there could have been done a bit more in the pc version development. Too bad CoD builds so heavily on consoles

Pretty amazing that they have been able to cr4ck it only after three days of work. A very nice chance to testplay it for people who don't want to buy it. But i also agree that the original game was already awful ...who knows maybe they can make it better with ranked dedi servers etc ..

Hey there guys ! I have a quick question to all Black Ops PC owners out there : Is Black Ops as of now still worth buying for the PC ? After playing alterOps for two days I am really thinking about eventually getting it but i am not sure if this is a good idea. The game runs perfect on my system , that's not the problem but I ask myself if there are still enough players that play BO on a daily basis ? Could someone who owns the game tell me approximately how many servers / players there are ? I can remember that the Xbox360 version had a little world map telling you how many players are online at the moment. And what is also important to me : Are there many servers with DLC content ? It's because I do not want to buy all those map packs as they would cost a huge ton of money all together. Thanks in advance, tac

Well I use Fraps in order to see the FPS ingame as its a really good tool that doesn't require many system resources...You can even benchmark with Fraps to calculate an exact avarange FPS value I got the following set-up : ASROCK 870 EXTREME 3 AMD PHENOM II X4 955 @ 3,82GHz XFX RADEON HD6870 (1GB DDR5) 8GB OF DDR3 RAM and I 'only' get 40-70 FPS on high settings D:

No, you really should not be bothered. Think about it : EA would never release a game that is unplayable. 30FPS sounds really low for PC users but it isn't.

Yeah I think so too Today the main server was online so you could start the game and play at least Combat Training but the server list was offline / couldn't find any servers :| So yeah... I think they'll still need a little while to stabilize everything

The servers are currently extremly unstable. It doesn't even save ppl's profile stats. And all the servers that are available also have very unstable connections.. once it has a ping of 30 and in the next second it's ping is 2000+ (I know I know its a pre-release but I just wanted to say it tho...)

What does he do to destroy the game ? I mean how can trolling be so effective ?

I agree with mr krabs... Terminal is a great map in my opinion but launching it 24/7? hmm i dunno...
