Whoops Posted November 3, 2011 Report Share Posted November 3, 2011 We are in the next 2 weeks moving data centre. Could be next week or the week after. Downtime is expected to be 12 hours. It will actually be a lot less but the system will need to be re-configured etc. There will be significant improvements on performance as a result of the new network hardware. We will have a 1Gigabit uplink which means even more and better games can be installed. The only problem is that ALL IP's will change. The MW2's should not be a problem as they will populate fast. The COD4's are empty so no great deal there. The time consuming bit is actually to remove old entries and add the new ones including IP address change etc. Once we know the exact date, will post back here. Whoops Posted November 4, 2011 Author Report Share Posted November 4, 2011 There is a delay. Server has not (yet) been moved to the new location, will be done later tonight. The game servers will still be offline as I want to avoid any corruption when the server is being taken offline. Game server names will remain the same - IP's will change.
