Somerset Posted January 9, 2012 Report Share Posted January 9, 2012 Yeah you really should be getting better performance from that rig neca, 4GB of ram may be your issue if you're running vista/win 7 as they tend to eat resources. I've got 12 GB of ram and windows 7 with some basic programs is using 20% of it most of the time even without a game running. If you have vista/win7 there should be a gadget for monitoring your ram in real time, worth opening it up and seeing how your system is performing under medium load. Also check your temperatures and do a basic maintenance of the PC. Clean the registry out, update all drivers, delete any large cache files, empty your page file etc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
