CoD4 Tweaks

I will simply add tweaks from other sites, if you have additional tweaks you may add as a reply and it will be added to the first post.

Video Mode = Use native screen resolution for your monitor.

Anti Aliasing = Off

Vertical Sync = Off

Glow = No

Dynamic Lights = OFF (if on, will create a -20 fps frame rate hit)

Screen Refresh = Set as high as your monitor can handle

Soften Smoke Edges = No

Depth of Field = No (creates a 5+ fps drop)

Rag Doll = No

Bullet Holes = No

Model Detail = Low

Water Detail = Normal

/com_maxfps 0

/r_drawDecals 0

/sm_enable 0

There's also a very useful cfg called vert.cfg. FPS increases fairly high.

Best cfg for high fps is yitch3.cfg as far as i know. it decreases the details to a minimum and increases the fps by a high amount.

I'm using a slightly changed version atm and it helps a lot.

I don't really like yitch. I admit, it's good, but somehow, vert increases my FPS a lot more than yitch and the graphics still look more attractive to eye.

okay, i'll give vert a try. but i don't think that it will increase my fps more than yitch because better graphics usually means less fps.

That's true, but as I said, for unknown reasons yitch isn't that good as vert on my PC while for my friend it works a lot better.
